SEADOM Congress 2020 – Important Announcement
With the increased developments in the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) throughout Southeast Asia, and the recent increased outbreak alert level to “orange” in Singapore, the Executive Council of SEADOM has determined that the 2020 Congress should be postponed until later in the year. The dates will be announced after confirmation with all the hosts and parties involved. The intention will be to keep the program and planning the same, so we can have a wonderful event together! Thank you for your patience over the past few weeks as we assessed this ongoing situation.
The 12th SEADOM Congress will be held in Singapore between March 12-14, 2020. The three day event will be held each day at one of our SEADOM members schools. March 12 at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore, March 13 at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and March 14 at the LaSalle College of Music.
This year the central congress themes are "Music, Health and Well-Being" and "Emerging Technologies and their Ability to Transform Music Education". The technology theme will be led by our student project participants as they share their insights into the technologies that are shaping our world so quickly.
Full schedule details and descriptions will be available soon. Looking forward to seeing you for three exciting and thought-provoking days!
